Tell us what your business needs.
About ten minutes. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed. You get a reply within two business days from the person who would build it.
- You do not need a specification. Describe it the way you would to a friend.
- Upload anything useful: a spreadsheet, a paper form, a photo of a whiteboard.
- Nothing reaches us until you press send on the last step.
Rather write an email? hello@runsolostack.com

Money is first mentioned at step four, in writing.
The form
Six short steps, and you can stop at any point.
The questions change with what you pick, so you are never asked about something that has nothing to do with you. A blue star marks the ones we need. Everything else can be left blank.
A sentence is plenty. It tells us your industry.
What you get before you pay anything
A written price, in plain words.
One page naming what gets built, what is deliberately left out, and one fixed figure. Half at the start, half at launch. Nothing starts until you have read it and said yes.
How it worksWritten price
Northfield Rentals
Booking and deposits for a rental yard
What gets built
- Online booking with live availability
- Deposits taken by card
- A morning list of who is collecting
Deliberately left out
- Text message reminders
- A phone app in an app store
An example. The company is invented, and your price is set after the first call.
Before you type anything
What people ask before they fill this in.
Am I committing to anything by sending this?
No. There is no charge, no booking and no obligation before you have read a written price and said yes to it. If you never reply again, nothing is owed.
What if I do not know what I need?
That is the normal starting point. Pick "Not sure yet" and describe the worst part of your week. Working out what should be built from that is the job.
What if I should just buy something off a shelf?
Then we will tell you that, and you will not have paid us anything. Sometimes the right answer is forty dollars a month and somebody else's software.
Who reads this?
One person: the person who takes the call, writes the price and builds it. More about that.
Why does it ask what I can spend?
The same idea can be built three ways at three prices. A range is enough. What things cost is written down before you ask.
Is there a shorter way?
Email us a paragraph and we will pick it up from there. The form just means the first conversation starts halfway through.
Still deciding
Look at the software before you write anything.
Every name, figure and date in these pictures is invented. The screens are the real software.
Ready when you are.
